Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to see, correct, delete or move the personal data we hold about you. Tell us what you need and we will respond within 30 days.
We may ask you to verify your identity before acting, so that nobody else can obtain your data. There is no charge for a first request.
Access. A copy of the personal data we hold about you and an explanation of how we use it.
Rectification. Correction of anything inaccurate or incomplete.
Erasure. Deletion where we no longer have a reason to keep it. We may need to retain a minimal record that you asked, so we can prove we complied.
Portability. Your data in a structured, machine-readable format, sent to you or to another controller where that is technically feasible.
Objection. You can object to direct marketing at any time and we will stop.
Withdrawing consent. As easy as giving it. It does not undo processing that already lawfully happened. For website storage choices use Privacy choices instead — that takes effect immediately.
If your question is about a medical record held in Genesys software at a hospital or clinic, that facility is the data controller. Please contact them directly. We will help them respond, but we cannot release their patients’ records to third parties.
You may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at any time.
